Is managing programs and projects effectively to keep timelines and solve complex business issues your daily business? If so, then you could be our new M&A Tech Sr. Global Manager!You will have an overall responsibility for leading cross-functional teams to execute a complex and strategic IT Due Diligence / program / projects that substantially advances the capability and performance of the Sandoz business. You will be accountable for planning, directing and coordinating activities pertaining to a major initiative that transforms how a business function or capability operates through the use of technology.You will play a key role in understanding the business direction, alignment of strategy to scope of the critical Due diligence, programs, projects, and drive measurable expected results aligned with business process and solutions standards. You will work on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and divestment due diligence and program/projects such as divestments, integrations or strategic projects. Further, you will be responsible from the planning until final delivery and is able to engage with the necessary IT functions while taking into consideration the confidentiality level. You will be part of the M&A Tech team and report directly to the M&A Tech Lead.Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • The Strategic Business Partner for complex business process/site/sub-function] drives and ensures that M&A and BD/L business demand is captured and collaborates with other TT functions to ensure quality services are delivered to stakeholders as per agreed service descriptions
  • This role contributes to the organization's strategy and implements objectives with technology strategy development, solution discovery, service, risk and relationship management
  • Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within M&A Tech governance, DD and Project / Program scope
  • Drive / Perform Pre- DD / Due Diligence (DD) considering all Technology impact / dependencies, to support business demand timely
  • Ensure delivery excellence and leadership throughout the inception of demand prioritization, across the full program lifecycle, across multiple Deals / projects of high priority, complexity and business impact providing a consistent, scalable, and robust business solution
  • Adherence to internal methodologies, processes and tools as well as to standards and procedures for deal, project reporting and documentation
  • Partner closely with Senior Management to implement strategic programs to deliver improved business outcomes and collaborate effectively with Sandoz Technology organization providing services to the program as well as M&A, Legal and other relevant stakeholders
  • Plans and organize deals/ projects/programs, allocate internal and/or external resources to accomplish project tasks aligned with time and budget commitments
  • Own deal / project status, issues and risks through appropriate channels / tools and ensure that these are reported back to agreed program governance (e.g. Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership and risk management
  • Lead the project team members and provide thought leadership aligned with expected results and consistency of implementation approach. Expectations of the Deal / Projects Leads are:
- Managing development of project plans, specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risks, consistency plans and allocation of available resources
- Planning team resource needs; allocate, supervise and review work as well as coordinate recruitment or assignment of personnel in support of the program deployment if required
- Directing and coordinating activities of project personnel to ensure project progress on schedule and within budget
- Employing good project/program governance by preparing deal/ project status reports, keeping stakeholders engaged and informed of program status and related issues
- Lead the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needsRole RequirementsWhat you'll bring to the role:
  • University degree or various degrees in science and/or business preferred
  • Fluent English (written & spoken) any additional language is beneficial
  • Advanced knowledge of business process analysis e.g. SCM, SD & design, IT Architecture of key applications like SAP, MES, CRM etc,
  • 10+ years business and IT experience expert knowledge of project management (5 years IT management expertise and ERP and/or HR systems)
  • Customer Orientation: ability to communicate & align with key stakeholders
  • GxP / SOX: sound knowledge of validation practice and Financial and IT control standards
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in country IT operations, Software lifecycle management
  • Ability to cope with complexities, ambiguities and matrix organizations and drive strong consensus managing demand to optimize business performance
  • Willingness to travel (30-50%)
