About the roleLocation: Ljubljana, #LI-Onsite, #LI-Hybrid.As a FRA Analyst (m/f) you will be responsible for the organization and execution of activities in the assigned accounting area, in order to provide relevant records, quality and timely information to fulfill the needs of process management and decision-making, in accordance with the law, internal regulations, good practices, and business objectives.

Procure to Pay (supplier master data, invoice verification, accounts payable, communication with suppliers, etc.)
Order to Cash (customer master data, accounts receivables, communication with customers, etc.)
Treasury & Cash Management (payment processing, bank statement bookings and reconciliation, communication with banks, etc.)
Record to Report (journal entries, booking control, preparation of financial statements and reporting, etc.)
Financial Compliance & Controls
Project work on SAP4Hana implementation & process optimization

You will be involved in:

Processing accounting transactions
Preparation of accounting documentation, analysis, and reports
Cooperation with internal and external stakeholders (auditors, public institutions, etc.)
Communication and cooperation with domestic and foreign business partners
Data analysis and reporting of results of internal controls
Process optimizations and system development in accounting & working on other global Novartis projects
Acquiring knowledge in various fields in Finance

Role RequirementsEssential Requirements:

University degree in economics & finance or other equivalent degree
At least 2 years of experience in accounting or auditing
Fluent in English
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of International financial reporting standards (advantage)
Experience with SAP (advantage)
Accuracy, self-initiative, responsiveness and communication skills
Flexibility to work in a fast paced, quickly changing work environment and ability to operate in a global matrix environment
