We are always on the lookout for new talent and crypto-curious thinkers who share our passion for the future of finance.As a Cloud Operations Engineer you'll join our Infrastructure Department and your primary focus will be designing and maintaining blockchain-based systems and working closely with dynamic team of SysOps, Developers, Architects, SecOps and other departments to continue to deliver excellence at Bitstamp.The benefits of Life at Bitstamp

What you'll do

Ensure stability and availability of the Bitstamp platform.
Provide and maintain application runtime environments.
Develop and maintain application deployment pipelines.
Provide and maintain logging, monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
Provide operational and technical support for engineering teams.
Provide regular application deploys and application environment changes.
Join operational on-call rotation.

What you will bring

More than 5 years of experience maintaining highly performant, low latency web services.
Experience with Linux, Bash, Python and Git.
Experience maintaining web servers (Apache, Nginx).
Experience with infrastructure as code (AWS CloudFormation, Ansible playbooks).
Experience administrating and using relational databases like MySQL and in-memory key value stores like Redis and Memcache.
Experience with AWS and information security best practices.
Active knowledge of English.

Nice to haves

AWS certification.
Operational familiarity with Atlassian products such as Jira / Bitbucket / Confluence.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins / Automaton controller.

Logistics

Hybrid working/full time in Slovenia.
Remote working/full time in Croatia.
